You'll relax in two of the most beautiful infinity pools in all Polynesia and meet the colorful fish life in the Lagoonarium in the heart of the resort.
The Aquatica Center is on the spot for diving, snorkeling and all the water sports. Then there's tennis, French bowls in the grounds plus any number of activities and excursions in Papeete and around the Island.
There are two designs for the Overwater Bungalows at the Intercontinental Tahiti Resort.
Motu is the Tahitian word for an islet, around a little motu the resort built 17 overwater bungalows.
The motu is situated directly on the lagoon, in front of the Lagoonarium, the main pool and the central resort complex. It's a little heaven of peace and tranquility.
There are15 of the Lagoon Overwater Bungalows, built at the Lotus end of the resort, near the Lotus Restaurant, Lotus Pool and Swim Up Bar, they have large bathrooms with jacuzzi tubs and separate showers.
They are Junior Suite configuration with 414 sq ft (38.5 sq m) excluding the deck and platform from which you can swim into some 10ft of water.

This natural aquarium that unique in the South Pacific. When building the “Fare I’a reservation”, the resort recreated the under water conditions found in the ocean by providing a constant flow of sea water. and Intercontinental Tahiti Resort has introduced corals, shells and tropical fishes, the resort now has over 200 sea species of all sizes and colors.
This very delicate ecosystem is regularly controlled and monitored by a team of scientists and you are invited to discover this under water paradise : parrot fishes, picasso, rays, and angel fishes.
The Tiare,the main hotel restaurant with its open kitchen is the heart of the ground floor level of the hotel, looking out over the stage, infinity pool and waterfalls and the spectacular silhouette of the mountains of Moorea.
The decor style is authentically Tahitian and it's here that the dinner shows take place on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, the last two by the famous "Les Grands Ballets de TAHITI".
