The location chosen for the resort was the area where the Malietoa, the chiefly warrior clan, came prior to battle in order to feast themselves on the sacred yam, known for its special rejuvenating properties.

 

Sinalei Reef Resort is situated on the South coast of Samoa's main island, Upolu.

Sinalei Reef Resort is set in 33 acres of landscaped grounds, alongside the village of Siumu – a 30 minute drive over the mountain range from Apia, Samoa's capital.

BEACHSIDE FALE:
The cultural design of the beachside Fales is exceptional; leaving a sense of complete privacy amidst the ocean breezes.

Outstanding indoor-outdoor flow is achieved by utilizing slatted wooden bi-fold doors: two sides and/or the front may be opened completely.

OCEAN VIEW FALE:
The Ocean View Fales have recently been redecorated to the high standard that Sinalei is renowned for.

Can't make a choice, either stay near the pool area, or alternatively, take advantage of the beach and ocean views.

A verandah with outdoor furniture creates an atmosphere ideal for reading and relaxing.

OCEAN VIEW rooms are available with a plunge pool and separate living living room.

 

Laumosooi Fale Restaurant:
Serving International Cuisine, casual to fine dining, specializing in fresh local seafood Light snacks are available for lunch.

Ava I Toga Snack Bar Grill:
Featuring a fresh water spring pool at the end of the pier for that refreshing cool dip or just feeding the interesting assortment of tropical fish.

Uncle Harry's Poolside Bar:
Serving refreshing tropical delights.

Wednesday night, Fiafia with fire knife dancing and island buffet with traditional Samoa food.

Saturday night, island BBQ with string band seranade.

Diving:
Stay at Sinalei Reef Resort and dive the South Pacific where the water is so warm, (29ºC /85ºF), a wet suit is not needed, the visibility is normally 30 meters or more. Beautiful corals and tropical fish abound on virgin reefs.

Game Fishing:
Fishing the pristine waters off the coast of Samoa promises to bring plenty of excitement as yellowfin tuna and other large game fish hit your lure, then dive deep to steal away your fish dinner. Excursions include all equipment, instruction, lunch and refreshments.
