Overview

Koro Sun Resort & Rainforest Spa offers a truly native Fijian experience, dedicated to adventure, rejuvenation and romance.

Built on a 150 acre coconut plantation, Koro Sun's enchanting bures, overwater bungalows and villas are private, exclusive and fully air-conditioned. Each offer all-encompassing views of the ocean and reefs beyond.

Your stay is all-inclusive, from the tenderly prepared and presented gourmet feasts, to the meticulous attention you receive from the dedicated staff.

All non-motorized water sport activities are included in your price, so the world outside is your's to discover.

Water sports include snorkeling on the reefs located just yards from the resort, or scuba diving the beautiful reefs of the Savusavu area.

Other water activities include kayaking, wake boarding, water skiing, and deep-sea fishing. Golf, tennis and cycling are options available.

Two swimming pools, one dedicated to adults and another for families with a large waterslide are popular with guests.

 

Koro Sun Resort, a 4 star rated boutique hotel, is located in the Savusavu area of Vanua Levu Island in Fiji's northern group.

The Clubhouse is the center of the resort with lounge areas, bar, and the main restaurant located here.

Wireless Internet access is available.

An additional Sunset bar and restaurant are located on the sea to allow guests to enjoy a variety of dining locations.

 

Koro Sun Resort Accommodation Overview

29 fabulous bures and villas are spread across the plantation.

Each bure or villa has tea & coffee making facilities and a stocked mini-bar. Hairdryer and all toiletry items are standard in each unit. Irons and ironing boards are available upon request and will be provided, if requested. Laundry service for all your laundry needs is available upon request

To add to the peacefulness and serenity of the environment, they choose to not have any telephones or televisions in any bures.

All the bures are air-conditioned. Each accommodation has a ceiling fan as well, and all bures have showers, except as noted. All Ocean View Garden, 2-bedroom - 2 bathroom bures have a romantic outdoor stone garden shower.

Ocean View Garden Bures

Surrounded by lush tropical gardens with picket fences, the garden bures are perfect for couples.

Each Garden Bure is air conditioned and has one king bed, and romantic outdoor stone showers. Each garden bure has its own fenced-in private yard. Maximum occupancy in this bure type: 2 people.

Ocean View Two Bedroom Bures
(2-bedroom, 2 bath)

This bure is air conditioned and has 2 separate bedrooms, each with 1 king bed (one can be split to two twin-size beds).

Between the two bedrooms is a living room area which has a full size day bed for lounging or for an additional guest. The bathroom has an indoor tile shower and an outdoor stone shower. Two Bedroom Oceanview bures also have a shady screened in porch.

Raintree Two Bedroom Bures

Each bure is air conditioned and has two queen-sized beds, a living room with extra daybed, kitchen and one bath with indoor and outdoor showers.

The large shady porch with hanging hammock chair overlooks the golf course, rainforest and private plunge pool. Perfect for a family or two singles sharing.

 

Treetop Deluxe Honeymoon Bure

This 1,000 sq. ft. deluxe and luxurious honeymoon treehouse bure is set among the raintrees and nestled on top of the hill overlooking the ocean and reef beyond.

Downstairs the living room has a day bed for lounging and a wet bar. The surrounding deck on the lower floor has a private plunge pool, an outdoor shower, and offers stunning views from every angle. The bedroom includes a king-size bed. Unique round windows offer a view beyond belief.

The second floor master bedroom suite has an over-sized built in bed, TV with DVD player, and a beautiful panoramic view of the ocean, golf course, and rain forest below.

Enjoy the in-bathroom jacuzzi, the outdoor plunge pool, or all the other amenities you'd expect to see in this beautiful honeymoon bure.

Edgewater Villas - Overwater Bungalows

The newly opened Edgewater Villas on the Koro Bay lagoon are the newest addition to luxury.

These two story overewater bungalows (or villas) are 1,300 square feet in size rooftop deck overlooking the Koro Bay lagoon.

The private courtyard of each bure features a swimming pool and sundeck surrounded by lush tropical gardens.

The over water living room features plush furnishings with a glass floor to view the ocean.

Streamside Family Villas
(1 in this category. Max occupancy is 6 persons)

Stream Side Villas are perfect family accommodations with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a full kitchen in a setting along the stream.

The villas are surrounded by with beautiful pink and white lily ponds.

The lower level of this villa includes two bedrooms with queen beds, sharing one bath with outdoor shower.

Streamside includes a full kitchen, dining room, and living area with flat screen TV & DVD player.

The second floor is the master suite with king sized bed, twin vanities and master bath with large soaking tub. The master bedroom is appointed with a rooftop deck overlooking the stream, under shady rain trees.

 

Mountain Top Luxury Villa

The 3,000 square foot villa is offers spectacular 360 degree views over the resort, rainforest and Koro Sea.

Mountain Top Villa offers a large, free form infinity edge, swimming pool situated between two buildings, as it's focal point

Mountain Top features a large great room, an indoor and outdoor kitchen, private master bedroom, and two additional bedroom suites that share a bathroom.

 

Kavika Falls Luxury Villa

Very dramatic and the best Koro Sun has to offer! A 3,500 square foot villa that has dramatic thatched roof forms and the highest level of fine furnishings, linens, hardwood floors, and luxury details. This property has a cascading waterfall from the upper deck, into the infinity edge pool, flowing over the pool edge under a sundeck, and down a large rock retaining wall.

The main bure has a gourmet kitchen, large great room with a 52” flat screen TV for relaxing and entertaining, along with large deck areas that all have huge ocean views. This bure also has 2 bedroom suites with private baths and large marble tile showers.

One bedroom is set up with a queen size bed; the other has 2 single beds.

There are two very private separate bure master suites on either side of the main bure that are connected by bridges. These master suites are again appointed with the highest level of furnishings, large and dramatic bathrooms, and great ocean views.
