The twenty acre property is bordered on one side by 400 acres of native land and on the other by a pristine marine preserve.

There are extensive walking trails for you to explore, and during your stay there are excursions to uninhabited nearby islands for a private picnic, bird viewing and snorkeling.  

You can also arrange to visit an authentic local village that will expose you to true Fijian hospitality.

The owners of this resort purposely limited the size of the resort to just one beach front cottage designed to accommodate one or two couples or a family.

Activities include Kayaking, Snorkeling, Scuba Diving and Game Fishing.

Koromakawa is located 48 nautical miles south of the main island of Fiji in the marine reserve partially surrounded by the northern portion of the Great Astrolabe barrier reef and can only be accessed by seaplane, helicopter or boat.

The private cottage is surrounded by a large deck with an infinity plunge pool cascading its spring fed water through to the gardens below.The interior features two bedrooms, a living room and large bathroom.

Living Room

The living room offers private dining, tea & coffee and chilled beverages.

It is purposely not equipped with phone or TV service but it does have an extensive book, musical and dvd library for your enjoyment.

Each guest is provided with a Koromakawa robe, slippers and Sulu.

Manta Rays are just 5 minutes from our resort. They are protected, but not restricted in any way.

To date all of the guests who have seen them, snorkeled with them and amazed they were in water no deeper than 20 feet.

Perfect for the whole family to enjoy no matter the age as long as a snorkel and mask will fit properly or if preferred just viewed from the boat.

You will enjoy this beautiful creature and the picnic later on the uninhabited island nearby.

 

 

 

 

The Plunge Pool, only accessed by Koromakawa guests, is located on the deck of the Guest House and receives its water from a large artesian well. 

The water is so pure it is not filtered nor are chemicals added to the continuous flow from the well.  As a guest of Koromakawa you will be able to watch the water rise from the bottom of the pool and spill over rocks into the gardens below. 

After enjoying the activities available, this is a perfect way to end the day or skip the activities and spend all day in the plunge pool with our staff attending to your needs

In the marine preserve where the resort is located, there have been occasional sightings of Mantas, Pilot Whales, Dolphins, turtles and much more.

Our menus at Koromakawa Resort are tailored for each customer.

When you book your trip to Koromakawa and before you arrive you will be asked for any food allergies or particular dislikes.

Once the chef knows your likes and dislikes, the staff prepares the menus, just for you.

The menus are different each day and are only repeated if requested.The cuisine is designed to make dining a pleasure, not a task.
