Tamanu Beach
The beachfront rooms are nestled right on the water's edge, literally just few steps from the waters of our blue lagoon. Tamanu Beach is family operated and offers guests a truly unique Polynesian experience with a wonderful blend of tradition, culture, a stunning beach location and genuine Cook Islands hospitality.
Tamanu Beach resort is located on the western side of Aitutaki, with awe-inspiring sunset views from the new beachfront restaurant and bar.
This a-la-carte restaurant seats up to 80 and offers a variety of dishes inspired by Pacific Island cuisine with a range of western favorites also. The quality menu is prepared by experienced resort chefs and the restaurant is open seven days a week for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Enjoy free use of our Kayaks and snorkeling equipment.
The fun starts at 6:30pm, enjoy a cocktail, wine or beer as you listen to LIVE music from Taumuri Williams. From 7pm, dine on island-inspired cuisine (buffet dinner) followed by a delicious tropical dessert, watch the sun melt beyond the horizon, looking over the sparkling Aitutaki lagoon before the excitement of our traditional Fire and Dance Show! The performers will captivate you with authentic dance, beautiful costumes, hand clapping and singing. Watch while the warrior men dance with fire to the upbeat rhythm of Pacific drums, as the island women move gracefully singing in sweet harmony. You can even give it a go yourself!
