Our first sight of Bora Bora took place from the seat of an inter-island flight from Papeete. We were so enamored with the view that we wished we could convince the pilot to circle around for a while!

The world famous lagoon of Bora Bora has warm shallow water and views seen only in our dreams. This lagoon is what brings people to the island, and it guaranteed that we would return.

Bora Bora offers some of the finest accommodations in all of French Polynesia. If you are considering splurging on an overwater bungalow, Bora Bora is the place to do it.

Surrounded by infinite shades of blue, this breath-taking island offers legendary landscape and sunsets of iridescent colors.

Our arrival into this ultimate tropical hideaway was marked by sweet-scented native flowers, balmy breezes whispering through the tall coconut palm trees, and seemingly endless white sand beaches.

We simply could not get enough of this tropical paradise.

 

Bora Bora Activities

Looking to fill your days with activities? Snorkel in the famous lagoon; paddle an outrigger canoe to a deserted islet; scuba dive on the reef; sail or windsurf in the tropical breezes; or simply sunbathe and nap on the white sand beaches.

We took an exciting 4WD safari tour through the mountains and the valleys.

Afterwards, we absolutely had to experience the famous shark feeding, where local divers hand feed some of the most friendly black-tip sharks in the world.

James Michener once wrote of Bora Bora, "Anyone who has ever been there wants to go back."
